The WheelSample

Day 3 – When You (Must) Let Go of the Wheel
Devotional:
There are moments in life when you have no control. Every driver knows the feeling when the rig starts to jackknife or the wheel jerks out of your grip. In life it’s the same—sudden loss, sickness, or rejection can make you feel like you’re sliding out of control. In such moments, it is difficult to keep trusting.Yet these are the very times when God urges you to let go of the wheel – not out of fear, but in surrender, in the fear of the Lord.
Surrender is not the same as giving up. It is saying: “Lord, I don’t know anymore, but You do.” That is when God’s strength becomes visible. Where your steering fails, He takes over. Just as an autopilot takes control when the pilot cannot, so the Holy Spirit will safely guide you through life’s storms.
Prayer of the Day:
Father, there are moments when I don’t know what to do. I want to hold on, but You ask me to let go. Give me the courage to trust You when I cannot hold the wheel anymore. Let Your Spirit carry me, guide me, and give me peace in the storm. Amen.
About this Plan

Day after day, we take hold of the wheel of a truck—and of life itself. The wheel sets the direction, the course, the destination. But who truly holds that wheel? In this reading plan, we’ll explore what it means to hand over the steering wheel of our lives to God. What happens when we release control and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us? Just as a small wheel can move a massive vehicle, God’s leading can set our lives on course—safe, purposeful, and in peace.
