Philippians - Choosing JoySample

Read: Philippians 2:12-13
SOAP: Philippians 2:13
We are not alone in this amazing work God has called us to! What a comfort to know that God works in us to do His will; He doesn’t just leave us to do it alone. He equips us, guides us, and enables us according to His good purpose. God is the master architect, and He is using each of our lives to build up His beautiful Church. We may not see how powerfully God is using us this side of heaven, but one day we will. Until then, we need to walk in obedience to God’s calling on our lives and trust Him with the master plan.

About this Plan

Joy is the theme in the book of Philippians, which is pretty amazing considering this letter was written by Paul while he was in prison. How is it possible to have joy in the midst of overwhelming sorrow and suffering? In the end, Paul teaches us that Jesus is the Author and only source of true joy.
