Beneath the SurfaceMuestra

Have you ever tried to put together a jigsaw puzzle without looking at the picture on the box? It's pretty much impossible. You try to fit random puzzle pieces together with no idea of what the overall image is supposed to look like. We need a guiding image to help us understand the big picture.
Many of us spend our lives trying to figure out who we are without knowing there's a guiding image. We're jamming pieces together, not even sure how they fit, with no idea how everything matches the example we've been given.
It doesn't have to be this way. The Bible is full of advice on how God is forming us, and what the final picture could look like. The Bible not only gives us a picture of who we're meant to be, but a map of how to get there. You don't have to guess about what's right and what's wrong. God provides guidance and help along the way.
In today's Scripture reading, we're promised that anyone who seeks God will find what they're looking for. That's great news for us — it means if you set out to find God's guidance in discovering who you're supposed to be, then you're going to find the help you need. That guiding image is available — all you have to do is look.

Acerca de este Plan

Who do you think you are? You might define your identity around your skills, abilities, and giftings. Those are great ways to start our journey, but they don’t quite reach the center. In the same way, an oceanographer heads into the depths to reveal the ocean's mysteries, we’ll need to prepare to dive deep to discover who we are and who we are becoming.
