And It Was Good

DÍA 20 DE 28

One of my favorite stories in Scripture takes place in Genesis 16. Hagar, a servant woman, is alone in the wilderness after being tossed to the side by Abram and Sarai. At her most vulnerable, God meets her, and she knows the Creator of the Universe sees her in her distress.

Fighting injustice can feel overwhelming. There are so many people in this world who are daily being mistreated. But we can take comfort in the fact that God, the Creator of this world, sees each of them. God loves them, cares for them, and looks after them. And on the days when you feel vulnerable or alone, know that, just like God saw Hagar, God sees you, too.

Today, spend time asking God to allow you to help someone feel seen.
