Before The Cross: He Is Glorious
At the end of the day, God will be glorified. This is a fact. He is about His glory and everything that happens is for Him.
“Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” – Matthew 24:30-31
The Bible teaches that Jesus will return. Those who decide to follow Him will be saved for all eternity. We strive each and every day to love and serve others like Christ since He was the greatest example we will ever have. We strive to share the Gospel with others because more people need to hear about Jesus. We strive to glorify God in everything we do because we are His disciples and His children.
When Jesus returns, sin and death will be no more. Satan will be defeated. Our bodies will be glorified and made new along with creation. Everything will be perfect and we will be with God for all eternity.
We will be held accountable for our actions here on earth. Not condemned, but will give an account and will be happy to do so because we will want to lay everything at the feet of Jesus. We’ll see even more just how sinful we are, and just how glorious He is.
My prayer for you as you have read through this plan is that the cross would mean everything. The Bible is 100% accurate and is all facts. It tells of a great true story of redemption and rescue. Everything points to the greatness that is Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.
I pray that each day as you wake up, you think of the cross first. That you would consider Christ and what He has done for you. That you realize you are sinful, in need of a Savior, and because of Jesus you are forgiven, forever. That you are confident as His follower to do great and powerful things in His name. That you spread the Gospel, love and serve others, and look forward to the day of Christ’s return.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Praise The One, Risen Son, Of God.
