What Does It Mean to Be Human?નમૂનો

Christ sends us as participants in His kingdom
The Christian life is not passive. We are not spectators waiting for God to act while the world falls apart. Paul calls us into participation: the mystery is that Christ is in us, empowering us to join His mission of reconciliation.
This truth is staggering. The same Christ who created the universe and conquered death now lives in us by His Spirit. His presence transforms ordinary people into carriers of His kingdom. Participation is not about being spectacular; it is about being faithful. Every act of kindness, every prayer whispered, every step toward justice, is part of God’s renewal of the world.
Too often, we think we are too small to make a difference. But Paul reminds us: Christ in you is enough. You don’t hold the world together; that’s Jesus’ role, but you do get to reflect His glory right where you are. At home, at work, in your neighbourhood, you are part of His reconciling mission.
Participation means asking daily: “Where is Christ inviting me to join Him today?” Sometimes the answer is simple: listening to someone who feels unseen, encouraging a colleague, serving in quiet faithfulness. At other times, it may mean stepping out courageously to speak truth, pursue justice, or embody forgiveness.
Christ in you means you are never alone. His life in you makes your life significant, purposeful, and fruitful, even in a chaotic world.
Reflection:
Where is Christ inviting me to participate in His kingdom today? What small, faithful step can I take this week?
Prayer:
Christ in me, thank you for calling me into your mission. Help me to live not as a spectator but as a participant, carrying your love into every place I go. Amen.
