The Father's Heart

From the very beginning, God’s desire has been simple and profound: that every person, every people, and every place would know Him. His heart beats for relationship, for restoration, and for the joy of His children living in the fullness of His love.

We talk about every person because God’s love is personal, reaching individuals by name and story. We talk about every people, because God’s love is collective, longing for entire families, tribes, and nations to be transformed. We talk about every place, because God’s love is geographical, desiring every location on earth to be alive with multiplying disciples.

The Father’s vision is for His family to multiply, not just in number, but in depth of relationship with Him. This means disciples who know Him intimately and help others do the same, so His love spreads with both breadth and depth.

When we truly understand His heart in this way, we begin to see the world differently. The stranger at the store, the neighbor across the street, the people on the other side of the world, all are equally precious to Him. His love is not selective or partial; it is vast, unending, and deeply personal.

His love is also purposeful. It moves us to action. The Father calls His people to reflect His heart by making disciples, walking alongside others, teaching them to obey His ways, and equipping them to do the same. This is how His love multiplies until it reaches the ends of the earth. We are reminded that the way to reach every person, people, and place is by being a disciple who makes disciples, multiplying our faith until His glory fills the earth.

As you read through these verses, try to consider them through the lens of the Father’s heart.

Questions to consider:

• Do I see others through the lens of the Father’s heart?
• Can I pray specifically for one person, one people group, and one place today?
• Is there anybody with whom I can share that God’s heart is for every person, people, and place?
