Make Disciples That Make Disciples

დღე 16 - 16-დან

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us.

The purpose of these 16 days is not to grow our knowledge, but to grow our obedience.

Biglife leaders once sat across the table from several disciple-makers from Central Asia who had once been members of terrorist organizations.

“We’re different from you.” They said to the Biglife leaders, “because when Scripture tells us to do something, we go do it even if we don’t fully understand. You feel a need to fully understand everything before you are willing to be obedient.”

When we view obedience through this lens, our reliance on our God becomes so much more real. When we can take bold steps of faith, even if we don’t have the knowledge to understand why just yet, can we trust that the Lord will guide our steps and give us wisdom through our obedience?

When we delay obedience in search of knowledge, are we telling the Lord that we don’t trust that He will guide us?

The fact is this: delayed obedience is disobedience.

So, what are we meant to do as disciples of Jesus? The answer hasn’t changed. We are called to hear, obey, and share Jesus, not as an obligation, but as a lifestyle.

Biglife empowers believers worldwide to reach and disciple their own people for Jesus Christ. Our vision is to see radically obedient disciples in every corner of the earth, turning the world upside down for Jesus Christ.
