We are empowered by the Spirit.

Jesus, the Anointed One, was filled with and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are empowered by the same Spirit as Believers. We’re called to walk in the same spirit as Jesus. We are “little anointed ones”, called to live by the power of His name and the power of the resurrection.  If Jesus was filled with anointing for gospel proclamation, then we too can be filled with the same anointing. If Jesus walked in anointing for healing, we too can walk in this same power. His Spirit gives permanence in the midst of instability. When we’re spirit-led in our words, it is hope with the anointing; unlike anything others have heard. There is something different that happens when Jesus’ Spirit is present. When we reach out in kindness, with the Spirit upon it, it is unlike anything else others have experienced. The Holy Spirit is a guarantee of what He has planned for humanity; for the fulfillment of God’s promise.

Ask God to fill you and empower you by the Holy Spirit. He wants to use your life now, even if you feel like something has been done before.
