We Are Oaks ಮಾದರಿ

We are the planting of the Lord.
The people of God are described as oaks of righteousness through scripture. We’re meant to be people who bring glory to the Father. There was a type of oak in scripture that was about self-glorification, praising other people, and giving worship to creation instead of the Creator. These oaks who brought attention to self, withered.
We will be oaks who are a planting of the Lord; those who plant themselves in the way Jesus lived. Jesus engaged in self-denial in bringing glory to the Father. The sacrificial, crucified form of beauty the Lord Jesus demonstrated on the cross is the greatest example of counter-cultural living. We need to plant ourselves in the soil of the Lord, roots down deep in His House and within His Body, with fruitfulness and flourishing that will last. Anything not planted by the Lord will be uprooted. We have inherited an unshakeable Kingdom and are permanent oaks in the midst of it, called to be a light to others.
QUESTIONS
What would sacrifice look like in these times, that best represents Jesus’ spirit of self-denial and an example to others?
Oak trees planted together grow tall and are best for building. Where can you engage further in a godly community in order to grow upright and healthy for the perfect use of our Master Builder Jesus?
