The Unconditional Love of God ಮಾದರಿ

Day 2: You don’t have to do anything to be loved!
Children are a gift from God! And, even though they need a lot of help for a long time, parents are happy to take care of their children. They change their diapers, feed them, protect them, bathe them, and so much more. They do these things because they love their children!
Have you ever done something special for your mom or dad? Maybe you helped them by sweeping the floor. Or, maybe you put your toys away without being asked. Those are such thoughtful things to do.
But the cool thing is, your parents didn’t wait to start loving you until you could do those kinds of things for them! And they won’t love you more when you do them. In other words, you can’t earn their love. It is a gift. Once again, it is unconditional.
God does the same thing. He loves you even if you never “do anything” for Him. Yes, your Heavenly Father has great plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11). He is excited to partner with you in those plans. But doing those things will not make God love you any more than He does right now! You can’t earn His love. You already have it. He is crazy about you.
Activity: Talk to your parents about unconditional love and what it means to them.
Prayer: God, when I see how much you love me, it makes me love you more. I’m excited about the plans you have for me. Help me to remember that my performance doesn’t make you love me more.
