Proverbs 3:5-7 - Wisdom for What's Nextಮಾದರಿ

God Will Guide You
Have you ever taken steps only to find yourself stalled, detoured, or behind? When we begin something, we picture the path in our mind and it is perfect. No delays. No obstacles. No setbacks. But that is never how moving forward works.
The real path, the one that will actually get us where we want to go, is always harder than we imagined, slower than we hoped, and longer than we first planned.
When we realize this, it’s easy to be discouraged. “Things aren’t the way they should be,” we tell ourselves. But this is the way things always are in a world that’s imperfect. It doesn’t mean we’ve done anything wrong. It isn’t proof that we won’t get there. It’s not a sign to stop.
What needs to be adjusted isn’t our plans—it’s our expectations. Keep the dream, chase the goal, go for it with all your heart. Just know that it’s going to look different from the perfect vision in your mind. When it does, adjust accordingly and then take the next small step with God.
If you are not where you thought you’d be now, it doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you are trying to walk with Jesus in a place that is not heaven. What matters isn’t perfection; it’s perseverance.
Every path has its obstacles. Every journey has its detours. Every place worth going will be harder to get to than it first seems.
You’re making more progress than you know. You’re so much closer than you can see. You’re going to get there right on time.
God, you are the one who empowers me to persevere. Help me keep moving forward today.
What is the next step God is asking you to take today?
