Today's Prayer: Pray they would take captive thoughts that aren’t from Him.
Our children are faced daily with a dialogue from society and culture, and sometimes even family, that isn’t biblical. Critiques and comparisons and false theologies can leave our children questioning their purpose and their worth.
Today, let’s pray that our children would run every thought through the filter of Christ. That, just like Paul encouraged the Corinthians to do in 2 Corinthians 10:5, they would test it and see that it is good and obedient to Christ. That they would capture any ideas or thoughts that are self-serving or self-harming and they would hand them over to the God who loves them. Pray that they would recognize His truth and His voice in such a way, that they can quickly identify anything that isn’t from Him!
Today pray that your children would run every thought through the filter of Christ.

About this Plan
It is my hope that as parents we are bringing our children before the Lord daily - trusting Him with their hopes, dreams and futures, as well as their protection, peace, and sustenance. With great care we look after their lives and try to protect their hearts, but it’s all for nothing if it’s not all for Him. As we look to intentionally pray over our children, point them to Christ, and exemplify the joys of godly living, I’m hopeful these 6 prayers will encourage you and bless your family.
