Not Giving Into Fear and Peer Pressure: Devotions for Girls (I Am Fearless)ಮಾದರಿ

After Barak and Deborah trusted in the Lord instead of fear, they had the victory against the evil Sisera! They didn't forget the help God gave them, but sang this song in celebration in Judges 5:3, 7, 21, 31 (NIV):

“Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers!
I, even I, will sing to the Lord;
I will praise the Lord, the God of Israel, in song.

Villagers in Israel would not fight;
they held back until I, Deborah, arose,
until I arose, a mother in Israel.

The river Kishon swept them away,
the age-old river, the river Kishon.
March on, my soul; be strong!

So may all Your enemies perish, Lord!
But may all who love You be like the sun
when it rises in its strength.”

There is inspiration in Deborah's words: "March on, my soul; be strong!" Her strength was in the Lord, so she could march on and move forward in confidence.
