DAY 2 - PLAYING FOR THE NAME IN FRONT
Championship teams often describe their success with one word: chemistry.
One of my coaches said it best:
“We play for the name on the front of the jersey, not the one on the back.”
Jesus commands us to love one another as He has loved us - not feelings, but actions.
Our enemy hates this because love changes people and draws them to God.
Everyone wearing “Team Jesus” is our teammate - whether we like them or not.
We even love our opponents, though differently: praying for them, treating them kindly, showing mercy.
REFLECTION
• Are you willing to sacrifice for someone you don’t like?
• Are you treating opponents with kindness and praying for them?
PRAYER
Holy Spirit, fill us each day so we can show the love we receive from You. Help us align our actions with Jesus’ love. Amen.
