DAY 4 - COACH’S DISTANCE: A CALL TO COME CLOSER
Athletes fear not the loud coach, but the silent one - the coach who withdraws.
Distance usually means something is wrong: ignored advice, lack of discipline, or unwillingness to grow.
A good coach steps back not to punish, but to awaken the athlete’s response.
That’s what happens when we sin - we miss the target.
It doesn’t immediately remove salvation, but it damages connection with God.
God may feel distant, but not to stay hidden.
He promises: “Seek, and you will find.”
He wants to be as close as we allow Him to be.
REFLECTION
• What sins are creating distance between you and God?
• Are you responding by moving toward Him?
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we don’t want distance from You. Help us stay loyal and close. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
