Inviting People to Church // Section 1: Earning the Right to Talk
This passage basically sums it all up. We earn the right to be heard because those who oppose us have nothing bad to say about us. That’s not to mean that we appear perfect or that we’re unwilling to admit we’re not perfect. It simply means that we have integrity and with every decision we understand that our choice will not only affect us, but our Church and those around us who don’t know Jesus. For their sake, we strive for right-standing with men. Like we've said before, we may be the only representation of God in their lives.
Practical Steps: Pray for a few minutes this morning for the first three people that pop into your head when you think about people who need Jesus. Ask that God would use your integrity to reach their hearts and point them towards Jesus.
