Hello, Tomorrow!Exemplo
DAY ONE: Launch Out Into the Deep
People seem to buy up so much emotional insurance against risk that they have little or no strength left to pursue their dreams and accomplish their goals. Life is risky business. I have heard of people walking down the street and breaking their ankle, or driving to work and experiencing a head-on collision, but I still walk down the street and drive to work.
The famous motivational speaker Jim Rohn once said, “Life is risky. Let me tell you how risky it is—you won’t make it out alive.”
A ship left in the harbor will eventually corrode and rot because of the corrosive elements of the sea. So staying put is as risky as launching out into the deep. On every voyage there’s a risk of meeting a storm or two, but a ship equipped with the sails of faith will be able to make it through.
Cast off your fear and make preparations. When the storms of life come, God will show you what emotional cargo should be thrown overboard to preserve your life.
