Combating Anxiety With God's WordExemplo
Anxiety: most of us will experience the brutality of it at some point in our lives. Notice this verse doesn’t say we, as Christians, will never struggle with fear; instead, it says to cast those fears and anxieties on the One who cares the most. When we worry, we take the promises God has for us and carelessly toss them out the window. The way to fight the unbelief of pride and the lies of worry is to flee from self-reliance and turn to God-reliance—admit freely that you have anxieties, and hold to the promise of amazing grace in the words, “He cares for you.”
When life seems to be spinning out of control, when moments of panic overcome you, know God is with you—He wants you to humble yourself and put your faith in Him and Him alone.
While taking your next exam, interviewing for a new job, or during a difficult time in your life, rest in the fact that you have a Heavenly Father who cares enough to die for you. You no longer have to cling to the weight of fear and anxiety. Remember to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you.
