Look at the black-and-white photo on today’s Bible reading plan. Stare at it for a few seconds. Do you feel as though you are looking up—or looking down? Show the picture to someone else and see if they see it in the same way as you do.
Read Matthew, chapter 9, verses 27 to 31, if you haven’t already done so.
Jesus, God’s amazing son, gave sight to the blind. He did something that no one else could do: a miracle. The men could see clearly—up, down, sideways, in all directions!
- Were these blind men surprised about that?
- What makes you think that Jesus didn’t want publicity?
- Did the men who had been blind do as Jesus said?
- Why do you think that was?
