Our First Love.
Jesus is the Lover of our soul.He cares about our lives so much that He knows exactly how many hairs are on our head. His thoughts of each of us are more than the stars in the sky and all of the sand pebbles on every beach in the world. He takes GREAT delight in you and even rejoices over you with singing!
Jesus is extravagantly, over-the-top in love with you!
I love what Max Lucado says:
“If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning...Face it, friend. He is crazy about you!”
How amazing is the love Jesus has for us? Jesus willingly died so He could have a close relationship with each of us! Imagine: the King of Kings leaving the glory and continuous adoration, love, and praise He receives in Heaven so He could come to earth to save you and me.
Celebrate Jesus, His love, sacrifice, and wonderful friendship today.
There is no greater Love!!!
Activity: Write a love letter to Jesus today. Share with Him how grateful you are for His love and all of the great people, good experiences, beautiful memories, and things on earth He has so lovingly blessed you with.
Prayer: “Jesus, how extravagant Your love is! We truly have ALL we need in You. Thank You for Your divine friendship, and Your love, healing, and wise counsel to us. How good it is we can trust Your faithfulness in each situation we go through in life. We love and adore You so very much!! In Your beautiful name we pray, Amen.”
