Take Courage... God Is Powerful!Exemplo

Take Courage... God Is Powerful!

Dia 1 de 7

Stay strong! đŸ’Ș

In the Old Testament, we can read the story of God’s people and their journey from leaving Egypt to entering the Promised Land. All of this wasn’t accomplished without battles of course, but God was with them.

Today, I’d like to talk with you about one incident in particular. One day when enemies came to attack Israel, Moses received a special strategy from God...he had to climb a mountain to pray, and Joshua had to fight in the valley.

We read this in the Bible: “And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.” (see Exodus 17:11)

Moses wasn’t alone. Aaron and Hur held up his hands. This is what we read in the Bible: “But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.” (Exodus 17:12)

Sometimes we need someone to help us and hold up our arms. Someone to uphold us with a word, a smile, a bit of encouragement. I want to help you keep your arms lifted and tell you today...don’t let your arms fall! God hasn’t said His final word. The victory is for you. The Promised Land is before you. You can do it! Stay strong! Giving up is for the enemy, not you. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you!

And don’t forget...your Joshua, the Lord Jesus, has already brought back the victory! He is the conqueror, and you are more than a conqueror!

Let’s finish today with a prayer
“Lord, thank You for Your Word that encourages me and strengthens my soul. I choose to stay strong, to fight, to believe in You again and again. I confess that the victory is for me because You have given it to me, because You overcame for me. Thank You for all Your gifts and blessings! In Jesus’s name, amen.”

Thanks for existing!
