The DecisionExemplo
He Is The Way.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 KJV
Christ died for your sin. In fact, Christ died in order to reconcile you back to God the Father. Back in Genesis, when mankind sinned in the garden of Eden and gave up his authority, dominion and access by disobeying God’s Word, there was nothing that man could do to redeem himself from his sin. Man’s sin was tied to his Bloodline. Mankind needed a Savior to redeem him from the bondage and the generational stronghold of sin.
According to 1 John 2:2 Christ is the propitiation for our sins, “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” In other words Christ is our substitute for our sin. Christ paid for our sin with His Blood. Christ is the answer. There is no substitute. When you surrender to Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, your sins are instantly washed away and the entanglement of your past no longer has a hold on your future.
When you are in Christ, it is your choice to move forward in freedom or you can choose to stay in the bondage of your past. Sin will keep you wandering in the wilderness. Sin triggers cycles. Sin will keep you in a dry place. When you are in Christ, He has given you the power and authority to walk away from and to resist sin. It’s your choice. Turn from sin and turn to Christ. Proverbs declares, “As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.” Proverbs 26:11 KJV Returning to sin is like returning to something that your body once rejected. Choose Christ. “See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;” Deuteronomy 30:15 KJV
