Refusing to Complain
Paul and Silas had been falsely accused, illegally beaten, and thrown in prison. They could have loudly complained and threatened legal action. Instead they sang songs worshipping God. Their Christian attitude, choosing joy over bitterness, allowed God to perform a great miracle. Far too often, complaints and murmurs short-circuit the power of God.
