The Domino EffectExemplo
In Acts 2, the church movement starts with people gathering in a room, praying asking God to give them the next steps they should take. In Acts 13, we see the church at Antioch trying to figure out how to send out the very first missionaries. Yes, people traveled around and spread the word of God before this, but this is the first time a church intentionally sent out missionaries. And before they do, they stop, and they pray. Prayer is an essential part of the growth of the church and the individual lives of believers.
The early church was desperate. They had to have God lead them. So… they prayed. What are you desperate for? Where and how do you need Jesus to show up in your life? When is the last time you had some intentional time of prayer? Is there anything in your life that can only change if Jesus shows up in prayer?
