ADVANCE: A Revival DevotionalExemplo
Introduction - It’s Time to Advance
Picture this: millions of individuals - all from different backgrounds, different experiences, different gifts, and talents - united nonetheless. Envision a people - unified, strong, and powerful - advancing ahead to take ground for an eternal kingdom that has come to bring hope and life to a hurt and dying world.
This is us - the people of God - advancing together in pursuit of God’s calling and purposes.
In this 21-day devotional, we will be unpacking the Bible to discover how we can advance in our personal lives, our relationship with Jesus, and ultimately advance the kingdom of God. You’ll be joining people from across the globe who are making the bold decision to take steps forward in possessing the promises that God has for their lives.
The question is: Are you ready to advance?
In Numbers 13, we see the Israelite's on the verge of possessing all that God had for them in the promised land, but most of them were too afraid to take the promise. Then we see Caleb, a mighty man of God, say this in Numbers 13:30b (NLT), “Let’s go at once to take the land. For we can certainly conquer it.”
Caleb saw the promise God had for him and his people, and he was ready to go after it. God has amazing, abundant, and beautiful promises for your life as well; You need only take a step, advance, and possess it. God has not given you a spirit of fear but one of power, love, and self-discipline. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be stagnant. Don’t move backward. Advance.
Prayer: “Lord, help me to advance. I want to grow closer to you and I want to experience all that you have for my life. I am going to commit to advancing in my walk with you. Thank you for who you are and thank you for the promise you have over my life. Amen.”
