GO2020 | ENGAGE: April Week 4 - SHAREExemplo
April 27—Choosing and Using the Weak
Read
1 Corinthians 1:26-29
Reflect
Have you ever considered or thought about your calling? You might say, “What calling?” God has called all of us, even if we consider ourselves weak, foolish, low or despised! Why do you think God chooses to use us, especially when we don’t see ourselves as capable of accomplishing his great plan? Why did God set things up that way? Well, it removes all room for boasting! God gets all the glory when he uses people like us! The success of the mission depends on God, not on us. We only need to be obedient and share the good news. He will do the rest.
Engage
Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions:
· What does it say about God?
· What does it say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verse, Matthew 24:14. Spend a few minutes beginning to memorize it.
