Confess With Thy MouthExemplo
Depart From Evil.
“Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:7 (KJV)
Choose to depart from evil. Fear, reverence, honor, and seek God. Choose not to connect with those who pursue ungodly behavior and patterns. Seek after righteousness. Seek after Christ. Seek after God’s Way of doing things. Proverbs 3:7 (AMPC) declares, “Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.”
With all of your heart, choose to diligently and consistently worship Christ. Turn completely away from evil. Turn away from those who choose to run to evil. Turn away from those who are double-minded. Reverently fear the Lord. Choose to confess the Lord with your mouth and surrender your entire heart to Him. Let your life reflect the Heart and Character of Christ.
Let Christ heal you. Let His Word restore you. Let His Word set you free. Galatians 5:1 (KJV) declares, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Be not entangled in the old way of thinking. Choose to live for Christ in every area of your life. Depart from evil and be not entangled in the bondage of the past. Choose to be set free.
