God Provides: "My Hope for the Future"- Lifted Up

Dia 3 de 3

To be “born again” is to start a personal relationship with God by believing in Jesus—who committed no sin yet died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sin. People who believe in Jesus and invite Him into their lives as their Lord and Savior are “born of the Spirit”—the Spirit of God who renews human hearts and lives within every follower of Jesus.

REFLECT: Do you find it easy or hard to understand and receive God’s love, which He demonstrated by sending Jesus to be lifted up on a cross for your sin? Why?

Is there anything keeping you from responding to His invitation to be “born again”?

PRAY: Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the times I do wrong and sin against You. Help me to look toward You and Your cross. Help me to remember Your sacrifice, believe in your redemption for my soul, and sin no more. I know I will continue to fail, but with your help, I can be transformed to be more like You. Thank you for loving me. Amen.

If you have not yet looked to Jesus on the cross and accepted Him as your personal Savior, but are ready to receive Him in your heart today, pray and ask Him to join you. If you don’t have words for it, just pray the following: “God I need You. I invite Jesus to come into my life as my Savior and Lord and to make me the person You want me to be. Thank You for forgiving my sins and for giving me the gift of eternal life."
