Division & DiversionExemplo
Division and Diversion - Satan’s Scheme by Bryan Craig
DAY FIVE
Scripture: “For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:3-5 NIV
Thought: Paul is warning that the winds of opinion and falsehood will swirl around us, but we must keep our heads. We must endure to fulfill all the things to which God has called us. There may be times when we start to doubt, but we must stick to what we know for sure.
There will be men who come into our life who will challenge our calling and even our very doctrine. We must be abiding in Christ constantly so we will know the Truth and so our connection to the Lord will be firm and unwavering. We must yield to the Spirit for He is the One Who will help us fulfill our mission.
Application: We must consider whether we believe we are in God’s Will. We must do a self-examination of our spiritual life to see if our ministry is in sync with God’s intention. We are all ministers in our own right, and God has placed us in our family, church, job for His purposes.
Let’s get in our journals and ask the Lord to show us where we may be getting off track from our mission. Let’s consider if a person in our life is guiding us away or confusing us.
Response: If through our time with the Lord, we see something or someone clearly leading us astray, we must let the Lord lead us back to His purposes.
We may need to have a difficult conversation or break ties with someone.
Write out a prayer of submission to the Lord and ask Him to help you be the person He’s called you to be.

Sobre este plano
Two major strategies Satan pursues in his mission to steal, kill and destroy in our lives are those of Division and Diversion... These are clear and present dangers that every believer should be aware of and equipped to deal with. In this plan we'll look at scriptures that pertain to these threats and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us into truth about how to defeat them.
