Hope for the Holidays: Reclaim the Joy of Jesus This ChristmasExemplo
Hope for Fear and Anxiety
We are not doomed to live chaotic, fear-filled lives. We are not victims; we are victors. We are people of great value bought with the precious blood of the Lamb. Jesus gave us the ultimate Christmas present, “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid” (John 14:27 NLT).
We must speak these words over our lives because the truth of God’s Word always nullifies the threats, taunts, and traumatizing words of the devil. No evil thing can stand against the name of Jesus. When you speak His name, you are speaking from the identity of Christ Jesus. You are standing firm on the conviction that Jesus is in you, and you are in Him. The blood of Jesus completely covers you, so fear, anxiety, and any other attack of the enemy cannot overcome you.
Action Step: Take some time to make a list of the things for which you are thankful and then praise God for His provision in those areas. During times of fear and anxiety, it can be hard to have a spirit of gratitude, but it is exactly during those times that we need to fill our thoughts with God’s presence and recall His blessings. Celebrating with gratitude is a great way to bring the joy of Jesus into your life this Christmas!
Sobre este plano
Our world has taken a joyful event and turned it into a frenzy of materialism and exhaustion. God never planned it that way. The birth of Jesus was meant to bring love to the lonely, hope to the hurting, and peace to the weary. Reclaim the joy of Jesus this holiday season!
