INTRODUCTION
When we read the Bible, we sometimes find the phrase "God has said or says the Lord!", It means that There is Power in His Word.
Therefore, everyone who hears by faith, the phrase that says "God has spoken," then that person has a weapon to defeat all doubts, fears, difficulties, and sufferings.
The words “God says” are the foundation of all the wealth and sources of comfort in our lives. Let the Words of God abide within us, the Words of God will be like a water spring that flowing out and leading us to eternal life.
For example, when God said to David, David said, "This is my comfort in my affliction for your word has given me life." (Psalm 119: 50).
In addition, the phrase "God has said" is not only useful for expelling doubts, fears, difficulties, and demons but also resulting in spiritual satisfaction. "Be content with what is in you", meaning that when God has said, everything that is needed in our lives as human beings is satisfied by God Himself.
God has said: "I will not leave you nor forsake you". In Greek, the word "not" is defined as a strong emphasis like this: "I will never ever leave you"
SHARING
If God has told us something, but we do not want to listen to Him. It causes as if God has forsaken us. What will be happened to us?
1. Lonely.
Loneliness is a feeling of deserted. It feels like a prisoner, moreover loneliness without God is really suffering. Loneliness is a condition of unhappy emotion because the desire for having close relationships with others is not achieved. Someone who wants a friend and does not have it is called a lonely person.
2. Sadness.
Sorrow is an emotion characterized by feelings of disadvantage, loss, and helplessness. In sad situations, humans often become more silent, less enthusiastic, and withdraw. Crying is one of the most common signs when a person is sad.
3. Helpless.
It is a condition where a man loses strength, even loses creativity. You can imagine what it was like when Jesus was arrested "All the disciples left Him and fled."
4. Hopeless.
Despair is an attitude where one feels that he has failed or won't be able to achieve goals, or he does not want to continue to do his desire. Discouragement means no more hope, hopelessness.

It means being forced to endure and bear with something unpleasant. The suffering that is meant here is the suffering that destroys the human spirit.
Therefore we can understand, how dangerous it is if we live without God. Indeed we must believe and trust in the word of God that says ": "I will not leave you nor forsake you"
What promises have been given by God which ensure that God will never leave us?
1. Genesis 28:15. God said to Jacob "Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you." Jacob experienced many problems in his life, had to flee through Padan-Aram, he was deceived by Laban, pursued by Esau, and also wrestled with God in Jabbok. But God remained faithful to Jacob.
2. Deuteronomy 31:6. Moses said to the people of Judah, by the Word of God, "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you." The Israelites were brought out of Egypt and chased by Pharaoh, but God guided them with a pillar of cloud and pillar of fire until they entered the Promised Land.
3. Joshua 1:5. The Lord said to Joshua, "No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.". God anointed Joshua with the Mighty Spirit, to replace Moses in leading the nation of Israel.
4. 1 Chronicles 28:20. David's experience with God, and then David told his son Solomon: "Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God—my God—will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.”
5. Matthew 28:20, "and teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” This is the word that the Lord Jesus promised as God of Immanuel to all believers.
DISCUSSION
1. In order to hear God’s Words, what kind of relationship should be built by God's people/church?
2. What is the difference between God’s Words to Jacob, Moses, Joshua, David, and the Lord Jesus’s words in Matthew 28:20?
3. How to prepare our five senses so that we are always ready to receive the words/voices of God at all times?
4. If God speaks today: "Do not be a servant of money and be content with what you have", how do you react?
CONCLUSION
1. Let us continue to believe that the Lord Jesus never forsakes us, His people if we build our relationship with the Father. As a Father, He continues to nurture his children through the Holy Spirit who continues to be a helper in our lives. And the promise of His word that is, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age.." (Matthew 28: 20b)
2. As children of God we must learn to understand what is contentment and sufficiency every day so that our faith is strong enough to depend on the providence of God every day. The Book of Hebrews says: "be content with such things as you have. For He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
3. As children of God, we must have courage. Let us boldly declare our faith "God is my helper, why should I fear of what human beings can do to me?" As children of God, we do not fear. Isaiah 51:12 “I, even I, am He who comforts you Who are you that you should be afraid Of a man who will die, And of the son of a man who will be made like grass?” Do not fear of people, but fear of God!
4. Remove all sadness. Do not keep the sadness in our lives, but rejoice always. Philippians 4: 4 “ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! in the Lord continually! Again I say: Rejoice! Free your life from the spirit of sadness!
5. Build our faith by relying on God with all of our hearts. Let's now say this sentence together: "My Lord will never leave me nor forsake me.”
