All For His GloryExemplo

All For His Glory

Dia 12 de 21

We have read a lot during this reading plan about the relationship the people of Israel had with God in His glory on their journey through the wilderness. Often encounters with this glory were awesome and even scary. Sometimes we can think that this is over with now and that we have nothing to fear in the presence of God.
This is of course partly true as there is now ‘no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus’ (Romans 8:1). Although we have come to a different kind of mountain to the one that Moses went up to meet with God, we must still worship with ‘reverence and awe’ (Hebrews 12:28).

The same call that God gave to the Israelites goes out to us today - will we be people who live all for His glory? This is why although the author of Hebrews highlights that we come to Jesus who mediates a new covenant for us, there is also a warning: ‘see to it that you do not refuse him who speaks.’

What is the Spirit saying to you today? And what will your response going to be?

As we use S.O.A.P. again today, let’s choose to respond to the Lord’s call and live our lives all for his glory.

All For His Glory

What does it mean to live 'All For His Glory'? This plan looks at how God's glory is revealed in the Bible and how people responded to it. The first week focuses on defining God's glory, the second week on what it means to be a carrier of God's glory through the Holy Spirit, and the third week looks at what it means to live a life of worship.
