Walk Through The Bible 365 - OctoberExemplo
The Wicked Are Not So Great
The Psalmist paints a portrait of words that displays arrogance, oppression, murder, corruption, misery, and condemnation from the wicked. Ever feel that way sometimes of the society or certain people around us? This can be depressing and stifling.
From this same portrait we find beautiful words of relief, unfailing love, consolation, judgment, never forsaken, revenge, and God as our rock and fortress! Viewing artwork is in the eyes of the beholder. Do you see the evil or do you view God’s great promises for us? His Word is wonderful to behold!
Prayer: Lord, help me not to look at the evil around me, but let me see your power, promises, and majesty. From your Word I know you are aware of the evildoers and you will take care of me. Thank you for being my Rock and Fortress. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
