Relationship GoalsExemplo
Technology today allows us access to almost everything at the tips of our fingers. Included is access to physicality, sexuality, and exploring our desires in private. Things like pornography, sexting, hookup culture, and objectifying peoples’ bodies are accepted and almost encouraged in our culture. However, we fail to acknowledge the long-term effect those have on our bodies, hearts, and minds. What our culture says about dating isn’t what God says. The things you put in your mind affect your soul and body— just like what you put into your body affects your overall health and well-being. God tells us to treat our bodies with respect- the opposite of what our culture says. Our bodies are gifts from God, and he designed us to take care of ourselves as an act of worship to him. Are the ways you view and treat your body pleasing to God? Our bodies were made to bring glory to God- and that is how we should treat them.
Challenge: Make a list to compare how our culture says we should act versus how God says we should act and treat ourselves. Then, take a moment to pray and ask God to help you make wise choices- not just go with what culture says.

Relationships are complicated, and relationships can be confusing if you're single, dating someone, or just putting feelers out there to see who you're attracted to. While the Bible never explicitly talks about "dating" relationships (because dating as we know it didn't exist when it was written), we can learn a lot of wisdom about relationships, singleness, attraction, and feelings.
