Surrender Your Fear: God Can Handle ItExemplo

Surrender Your Fear: God Can Handle It

Dia 1 de 3

Lay Down All Fear

“I am your protector. You have nothing to fear. Though you feel threatened and the stakes seem high, I lead you to my safe place. It is a place where you can rest. I have gathered everything you need here. Can you picture this place? Can you picture what I would place here for you? Can you see where I am?

“In this place, you can be restored. You come to me and get restored. And restoration is not what you think it is, for you have a limited view of restoration. To be restored, all that is tarnished is wiped clean. From the inside out, I bring hope and peace, and joy to your soul. I resurrect the memories you've tucked away, too difficult to bear, and I breathe new life into them. I create a new storyline with the remnants of the past you are reluctant to revisit.

“It is time to revisit what has pained you so I can bring life to old stories and make them new. I want to make everything new. I will make everything new in you if you let me.

“Will you trust me a bit more? Will you let me in a bit more? Will you follow my steps (I am so close to you now) to visit the deeper places of your heart you have feared to see?

“Lay down all fear. I stretch out my hands and receive it."

“Give me your full heart. Bit by bit. That is good. I will take what you give me. And I will help you give me more. This choice to trust me—to go to the safe place with me and be restored—is going to be good. Not easy. And not without cost. But worth it. Worth it all. Try me. I promise.”

Friends, we join with you now in praying for God's help in trusting and saying yes to His invitation here. Share with us the line(s) that particularly struck you, and we will pray them along with you.
