Joseph - Dreaming BigExemplo

Joseph had eleven brothers but of all the sons, Joseph was his father’s favourite and was given a special colourful coat. Joseph’s brothers knew their father loved him more than them, so they hated him! His brothers were already jealous of Joseph, so when Joseph told them about his dreams, they weren’t very happy about it at all.

Joseph dreamed about bundles of wheat all bowing down to him. He also dreamed of the sun, moon and eleven stars bowing down to him too.

These were big dreams! His brothers hated him so much they threw him in a well and sold Joseph to merchants as a slave.

Joseph’s big dreams came to pass. Eventually he became very important, and the king made him second in charge over all of Egypt. He led the Egyptian nation through a terrible famine and ended up saving his entire family and the future nation of Israel. His big dreams as a teenager seemed impossible, but with God we can dream big.
