Walk With OthersExemplo
Day 5
Spiritual Mentoring
Who are the people who came alongside you to help you mature in your walk with Christ? Pause and take a moment to give thought to this aspect of your journey of faith.
Could you say “yes” if asked to be a mentor? Mentoring is a task that might at first cause you to tremble. But it's not an activity that should scare you or cause you to wonder: What could I offer? Mark Gauthier found mentoring to be easier than he thought and very valuable.
Listen to Mark |
Mentoring, says Mark, occurs when you make yourselves available to someone else and pass on what you've learned. In 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Paul instructs us to “encourage and build one another up." Encouraging someone isn’t complicated, especially when we have God’s Word to draw upon.
Why not pray and ask God to direct you to a person who you could help move forward in the faith as you spend time with them.
Congratulations for completing the “Walk With Others” plan. We hope you found it helpful. We have a total of twenty YouVersion plans that cover the four areas of WALK, PRAY, CARE and SHARE. To find our other plans, search using the phrase “MYLC.”

Sobre este plano
Walks are often enjoyed with other people. It’s great to be able to talk about what you’re seeing, feeling, and hearing. As we walk with God, He also intends for us to help others WALK more closely with Him. Each of the 5 days of this audio plan contains a short message (1-2 minutes). We will cover mentoring, connecting with others seeing opportunities, and handling challenges together.
