Guardians Of Ancora Bible Plan: Ancora Kids Put On ArmourExemplo
FIGHT FOR GOD
Does the Bible tell us to fight? Read Ephesians chapter 6, verses 10 to 13.
Yes! Christians are told to “fight” the devil, who is our enemy. But don’t worry – we have God’s power on our side.
God gives Christians “armour” that they need to protect them from evil, just like a Roman soldier’s armour: a helmet, a breastplate, a shield, a belt, a sword, and shoes. Read verse 10 again: God is strong and he helps us to be strong, as we fight against evil.
Read verse 14. Find a belt and tie it round your middle; then tuck a piece of paper into it, at the front, like a breastplate.
We need to make sure that we have the truth about Jesus around us, like a belt, so we are always ready in our fight against evil.
“Righteousness” or “justice” means living God’s way. If we do right, it will protect us, just like the breastplate protected a Roman soldier.
Pray: “Thank you, God, that the truth about Jesus and living your way protects us.”

Sobre este plano
This 3-day children’s Bible reading plan explores one of the best-known passages in the Bible: putting on the armour of God. As children develop, they learn to understand and then use this sort of symbolic language: it is a skill that grows as people grow. This Bible section is a perfect example of picture-language that helps us see the deep things of God.
