Qualifying for God's AnointingExemplo
EMBRACING OBEDIENCE IS REWARDING
Many with great anointing have missed it with God about obedience because sometimes, the instructions of God conflict with our desires. When God told Peter to arise and eat, he said, “Not so, Lord (Act. 10:14)”. What he didn’t know was that you don’t say “Not so” to anyone you call Lord.
There is a difference between Jesus Christ being your Saviour and being your Lord. Too many people in the Body of Christ received Jesus as their Saviour, but He has not become their Lord. It is when Jesus becomes your Lord that the anointing begins to flow into your life. For as long as Jesus remains your Saviour, you are just a recipient but will not become a distributor of the anointing or other treasures of the Kingdom.
Great anointing comes when you come under the anointing of your destiny. God anoints obedience. God asks you to do something because that is what He requires. When you obey your husband as a wife, it is not because that man is worth it but because you have submitted yourself to God and His Word, and God will reward you for obeying him. It was not easy when Abraham told Sarah to say she was his sister, but she did it in submission to her husband, and God fought for her (Gen. 12:10-20). Sometimes, you may find yourself in a situation where obedience to God costs you some things, and God will always reward you for that.
PRAYER: Lord, I choose the way of obedience daily, and I receive the reward of following the pathway of obedience in Jesus’ name, Amen!
