Becoming a Son That Pleases the FatherExemplo
BECOMING A SON THAT PLEASES THE FATHER
A few years ago, I was at home minding my business when I had a revelation and heard this phrase, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” The phrase came in the Yoruba language, the native tongue in the southwestern part of Nigeria.
The phrase kept ringing in my heart. After some time, my spirit focused on it, and I started saying it out loud. As the word rang in my spirit, there was a strong emphasis on the second part of the phrase, “… in whom I am well pleased”. While praying and asking the Lord for the meaning, the Holy Spirit began to speak to me. This 30-day devotional is a product of that revelation.
I believe the goal of every Christian should be to become a son that pleases the Father, and I want you to follow me on this journey all through the days. I pray that your encounter with this will help you not to be ashamed when you stand before the Father on the day of reckoning. May you have what God is looking for to qualify you as a son that pleases the Father. Amen!
PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to have what You are looking for to qualify me as a son that pleases the Father, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
