Now And Forever

We can choose to put our hope in God. We don’t have to wait around for inspiration to do so. God is endlessly gracious, and he offers us himself whenever we seek him. Even in the waiting, we can throw the anchor of our hope into the sea of his constant love, for he never changes.

On bad days and on days we’re flying high, we can offer God the hope of our hearts. Now and forever, God is faithful, merciful, just, and true. Though we are constantly changing, God is not. He is a steady foundation and a sure help. Why would we hold back hope when he is the fulfillment of our greatest longings? People of God, “Put your hope in the Lord now and forever.”

Faithful One, your character is the bedrock of my faith, hope, and peace. I choose to put my trust in you now and every day that is called “today.” You are my God, and my hope is in you.
