30 Days Defeating the Arch-Enemy of Our Finances (Mammon)Exemplo
GOOD STEWARDSHIP
The Bible teaches us about good stewardship and administration. Mammon stands against good money management, and he will do anything to mess up our finances. Today we have access to great teaching and information. Let's make the most of it! Through technology, we have access to consultants, books, etc.
Good money management involves how you use your money and the best ways to invest it, both of which impact your future. The key to good money management is good financial teaching, which in this day and age is available even for very young children. However, there is still little access around the world to such good teaching about finances, entrepreneurship, and investments.
In the parable of the rich fool (Luke 12), the rich man did everything right financially, but he put his identity in his riches. However, in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25), two servants invested wisely and earned more money, while the third servant, who received one talent, did not know how to invest and was spoken of harshly by the master (the owner of the gold).
From beginning to end, the Bible teaches us about financial management. Seek to learn and grow in this area. There is so much teaching available! Above all, learn to think biblically about money. After all, God's desire is for you to enjoy financial health and a life of abundance. Take care of your money as if everything depended on you, but pray earnestly about your finances as if everything depended on God.
Remember: Managing our finances well is our part in financial health. Don't neglect stewardship. Depend on God, and you will see amazing results!
