Restore My Soul: How to Start Moving From Hurting to HealingExemplo
(Video and written content are the same.)
My Story Is In Progress
If you have accepted Christ as your Savior, then you are redeemed. He paid the price to buy you back from the hands of the enemy and restore the relationship He created you to have with Him. God has redeemed your life and He has gathered your heart to unite with His. But as incredible as that is, it's only the beginning of your story!
This current chapter of your life may feel like the deepest valley you'll walk, but know that you are walking through this. This part of your story is just that—a part. You don't have to pitch a tent and stay in the dark.
While the hole in your heart prevents you from feeling like it is fully beating, this moment in time is not where your story ends. Beyond the veil of this earthly life, heaven awaits us. It is there that we will fully understand our redemption story. Until then, we are to keep our eyes open to the chapters that we can see and understand. When the present hurts too much to see the future, we can reflect on how God has worked in our lives in the past and remind ourselves that our story is not over.
Pray with Me
Lord, help me remember what You've done for me. You've redeemed me and brought me near to Your heart. While the pain is so deep in this moment, I'm reminded that my story is in progress. You have not written the final chapter, and Your hand is still moving across the pages of my life. Fill me with anticipation of the ink to be penned in the chapters ahead.
Take a moment and read Psalm 107 in its entirety if you'd like. Be sure to come back tomorrow for more encouragement!
