Find Wisdom.
”Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, And the man that getteth understanding.“ Proverbs 3:13 KJV
Happy is the man that findeth Wisdom—find Wisdom. Seek her out in every season. Find Wisdom. Seek her out in every circumstance. Find Wisdom. In every moment—find Wisdom. Embrace her. Hold on to her. Choose to be led by Wisdom.
Proverbs 4:7-8 KJV declares, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: She shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.“ Wisdom is the principal thing. In fact, Wisdom is the foundation. Seek Christ. Seek His Wisdom. Seek His Way.
When you seek Wisdom—He will guide your way. Proverbs 3:13 AMPC puts it this way, “Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the man who finds skillful and godly Wisdom, and the man who gets understanding [drawing it forth from God's Word and life's experiences],“ Draw from Wisdom. “Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding.“ Proverbs 3:13 NLT. Joy is found in Wisdom. Peace is found in Wisdom.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Wisdom” used in Proverbs 3:13 KJV is, ‘ḥāḵmâ’ (H2451) which means, “Skill (in war), wisdom (in administration), shrewdness, prudence (in religious affairs), wisdom (ethical and religious).” Skillfully surrender to the Word of God. Skillfully follow His Voice. Skillfully surrender to His Way. May His Principles and Precepts be forever written upon your heart.
The Message Bible expounds upon Proverbs 3:13 MSG in the following manner, “You’re blessed when you meet Lady Wisdom, when you make friends with Madame Insight.” Let Wisdom and Understanding lead your course. Watch and pray. Submit to Wisdom. Surrender to Understanding. Let Christ light your life. Let His Word lead your path.
