HIS GOODNESS AND FAITHFULNESS WILL FOLLOW YOU

When you live by faith and obedience, God's goodness will follow you!

You can take hold of the new life God has provided through the sacrifice on the cross! A lifestyle of obedience is not just an altar call, prayer, and one decision but a commitment to please God with our lives. Although there will be times we will miss God, that is when we realize we need His grace over our life. When you and I understand that grace empowers us to live Holy as unto the Lord, our perspective of how much God loves us will be revealed.

God is expectant to have an encounter with you, and He desires to live in close proximity to His children. An encounter is when you receive assurance that God has forgiven you of your past. Now, with God, you have a blank page to build a legacy! By giving your heart to serve Christ, your life will change, and you will receive freedom!

In the Bible, we have the story of Jacob, and I believe his story resembles our life in a particular season. Jacob was known for lying and being a trickster, but once he had an encounter with God, his life was never the same. Like us, Jacobs's life was surrounded by many obstacles and troubles. He prayed to reach the promises of God, and he humbly submitted himself to the hand of God. One day, he envisioned a staircase with angels going up to heaven and coming down to the earth. He received a revelation that God was in the place where he stood; that place was called Bethel, which means "the house of God." Jacob also understood that God was on his side; any obstacle or battle can be won if God fights our battles. There are so many of us in this world who are believing in breakthroughs in our prayers. God turned the situation around for Jacob, and so will God turn it around for us if we believe in and trust God's plans for our lives.

Jacob's identity was changed by walking in obedience, whereas before, he was known for the Hebrew words "heel" equal to "deceiver." God had changed his identity to Israel, which means "God fights." God will fight to establish the Blessing in your life! God fights to show you, oh, man of God, women of God, and mighty youth, that He is for you!

Through the path of obedience.....

Your family shall be made whole.

Your marriage shall be restored.

Your children are sons and daughters of the promise.

Through this devotion, God has revealed to you what it means to follow the path of the Blessing through your obedience. We can reach God's promises by following His plan for our lives. God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
