The Making OfExemplo
Want an easy-to-remember way to read and study the Bible? No matter which passage of Scripture you're reading, ask yourself these three questions: "What?" "So What?" "Now What?" We'll show you how!
WHAT? What is this passage about?
What does this passage tell us about what happens when we repent? What about when we don't?
SO WHAT? Why does it matter?
- Why do you think Jesus spoke these words?
- Jesus talked about the fruit that comes from repentance—or how we can grow when we make things right with God. Why do you think change is a necessary part of repentance?
NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?
- Repentance is a heavy word. It indicates sorrow for the wrong things we've done and results in a turning back to God. What's something you've done in the past that caused you to feel sad?
- Are there any mistakes or harmful habits you need to turn away from so you can turn back to God? What would that look like?
- What might keep you from choosing to repent? What's at risk if you don't?

In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll see how our habits behind the scenes help us grow the faith we want to see.
