INSPIRATION THROUGH HIS CREATION

My Dearest Daughter,

You are on the path to wholeness, and I am so proud of you. My desire is for you to travel the world and explore the beauty I have created for you on earth. Get out and seek me in all places so you know there’s no limit to what you can create or put out. When I first created the world, it was a blank canvas that pulled out some of the best things in me. I created the world in preparation for you to come into it thinking and believing big. So take that trip I placed on your heart, or do something in your hometown. Check out the latest exhibit, and know I am always speaking no matter where you go.

When I planted the garden in Eden, I made sure to make it pleasing to the eye and good for food. This I did on purpose to make sure Adam was not only sustained but also inspired to sustain his new life. Adam didn’t have anyone to look to but me, which is enough, but look at how much inspiration is around you. Focus on what’s inspiring you in this season, and ignore the things that try to weigh you down with frustration guilt, and sadness. Just as I made sure Adam was sustained, I will be sure you’re well cared for in the things you do. Live, my love. Live!

Love,
Your Father

Hey, Sis.

When God wrote me this letter, I was sitting on the beach in Miami, on my first solo trip in a long time. I can’t lie to you and say I didn’t think, “Oh, boy! Not another solo trip!” But I’d been practicing switching my perspective and seeing the beauty God has planned for me. I got the call from my client’s assistant to get on a flight in three hours, and I decided to not only get a client ready but to stay and enjoy myself for once.

I got a room at the posh, exclusive Soho House Miami, and it was worth every dime. I booked a massage that was phenomenal, and I tried an omakase sushi tasting that made me fall in love with sushi. I slept past two in the afternoon and enjoyed the rain. (Living in Cali, you see rain maybe five times per year.) The experience was pretty amazing and brought me so much joy! Though I was alone, I took the time to enjoy sitting alone and eating dinner. I made friends with some great people and just enjoyed being quiet. The silence helped me hear God to jot down the letter he was pouring into my heart and which I can now share with you.

One thing the pandemic taught me was that I’d been putting my life on hold in hopes of meeting my person. I had missed out on so much inspiration with the Lord by waiting on something I wasn’t ready for. Even though I was alone a lot, I truly didn’t take the time to do things I liked because it would only remind me that I was alone.

So, I am urging you, this week, to do something that inspires you. Go find it. You can go to a jazz festival, go to church, or volunteer to help others. Figure out what inspires you and sparks joy in your life and do it. It doesn’t have to be a lavish trip, but what if it is? If it’s on your heart, take it back to God and let him confirm, and when he does, do it! Just do it and don’t hold back! It’s time to push!

Love, Camara

Love Letters to My Daughters

Ever wondered what a love letter from God feels like? Seven years ago, I began journaling my conversations with Him, finding comfort and reminders that I'm never alone. During the pandemic, God guided me to publish "Love Letters to My Daughters." Initially nervous about sharing my personal journal entries, I found courage in Revelation 12:11 (NLT): "And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony..." Take this journey with me and let God, the love of our lives, guide us most beautifully.
