7 Days Of LoveSample
Love Your Enemies
Honestly, loving someone who has hurt or trying to hurt you is hard. But Jesus healed the servant of the high priest whose right ear was completely severed when he came with the soldiers to arrest Jesus. Who among us would heal his/her enemy? Loving your enemy indicates the complete surrender of your will to God. The bible says in Roman 12:19, “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
Look up to Jesus Christ, be encouraged by His love and let Him be your example.
Prayer: Most holy everlasting Lord, love is what you are and how you want your children to be. You’ve set examples of love from the beginning of creation when man disobeyed you, yet you provided for man. You send out rain for wicked farmers as well as good farmers. Your love doesn’t discriminate and that is what I need to learn. Father, today open my understanding about your love and help me to love like you, in Jesus name, amen.
