Everyone Deserves Love

Everybody wants to be loved and respected, but do we love and respect others for who they are? The good news is about loving God and loving each other regardless of who they are, where they are, how they look or what they believe in. Jesus, during His time on earth loved everyone, Jew or Gentile, old or young, sick or healthy, rich or poor, demon possessed or free, dead or living. 

Jesus never picked or chose who He may love, He made sure everyone got the love they deserved. As followers of Jesus there’s no better way to represent Him than to love like Him. Love is not selfish, love is not a ”one way traffic,” (if it's me receiving the love then it's all good, if it's me giving the love then it becomes a problem.) 

God first loved us and demands that we love Him back. Jesus told the Pharisee, love the Lord your God and love your neighbor as yourself. We would obey all the laws by listening and following Jesus words.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to love like you. I need to learn how to initiate acts of love to those around me just like you initiated love with us even when we were sinners. Holy Spirit, constantly remind me to look beyond what people say or do to me, let me unconditionally show love regardless of who the person is. This I ask in Jesus name, amen.
